Muhammad H. Habib is a member of the Board of Directors of Habib Bank AG Zurich. He served as the Group’s President from 2011 – 2025. Prior to this, he served as the Group’s Joint President from 1996 – 2011. During his tenure in these roles, Habib Bank AG Zurich expanded its global network to South Africa (1995) and Canada (2001).
He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Habib Canadian Bank and Habib Bank Zurich plc. Additionally, he is a member of the Board of Directors at HBZ Bank South Africa and HABIBMETRO Pakistan.
He studied at Collège de Genève in Geneva, Switzerland, and earned his degree in Business Administration from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, USA.
